Special Registration Information

Due to the fact that many of the new computers are now being sold without a 3-1/2” diskette drive, we have now started including the files required for registering CASST on the Installation CD.

Note: You cannot run the Authorization process from the CD. Follow the instructions below to complete the Authorization of CASST if you do not have a 3-1/2” diskette drive.

1. With the installation CD in the CD drive, open the Windows Explorer (right click on the “My Computer” icon on your desktop and select the “Explore” option).
2. Locate your CD drive and click on it. The contents of the CD will be displayed on the right side of the Windows Explorer.
3. Locate the “Reg Files” folder.
4. On the left side of the Explorer window, locate your C drive and drag the “Reg Files” folder to your C drive. (This will copy the folder and its contents to your C drive, creating a new folder named: “Reg Files”
5. Locate the new “Reg Files” folder on your C drive and click on it. The contents of the folder will be displayed on the right side of the Explorer window.
6. Double click the “Register.exe” file to start the Authorization process.
7. Follow the instructions on the screen.
